be touring Japan in August. Rolling Stone has crowned our boys as
one of the top

working on pulling a cd together that will be released in April of

the Octoberfest event in San Diego as reported in the paper. It was

25 Louis XIV recently took the gold medal on Zane Lowes (BBC)
New Meat from SXSW, with ' Finding out True Love is Blind'. The show
at SXSW was great. "Labels, agents and publishers were falling
over themselves to get to the boys." They played to a packed
room. I've never heard Jason and Brian so excited about a show. Don't
miss the show at the Casbah on the 10 in San Diego. There are plans
for a festival in England and the possibility of more shows accross
the pond. March 6 Louis XIV has some
new shows coming up. We have a few shows we're going to use as warm-ups
for the SXSW festival in Austin. We have two shows that will be Louis

formally Mrs. Brody Armstrong and the 2004 woman of the year

Jason and Brian will be in London next week for various music related
reasons and festivities, including an invitation to the NME awards.

Also Jason, Brian and Mark have officially declared an indefinite
hiatus from Convoy, although there are some plans for a few shows
possibly in the later part of the year and a release of some of the
bands hundred some odd unreleased recorded songs. But any definite
plans have been put on hold due to the excitement surrounding LOUIS
XIV. Some of their favorite tracks may be included on future LOUIS
XIV releases. "Thank you to everyone who has followed the band
and our music, we sincerely appreciate you and hope that you can continue
to grow with us into new musical realms", says Jason. He also
went on to say," we're going where our music is taking us."
Maybe we can get some more out of them later about it. Tentative show
scheduled next month in Austin for SXSW on March 17, more details
later. The message board will be out for a while under renovations.
JANUARY 22 The God Killed the Queen
is now available for viewing in the visuals
section of the site. Check it out. Jason and Brian have recorded
3 new songs in New Orleans and are now freezing their asses off in
NYC. They'll be back in sunny San Diego some time next week. There
